Thoughtful Threads Interior

Lately, I have been working on the interior of Thoughtful Treads. We acid stain the floor with a greenish tint and I arranged 7 different kinds of wood to make the back wall. Sherman Williams donated some of their new eco-friendly paint for us to try out. As you can see above, I had trouble choosing which one would work the best. I went with a color called "Window Pane". It's mostly blue with some hints of green in it - works well with the floor. We're going to have a tree in the building and butterfly plants (yes, butterflies will be able to live in here)!!!

"Green" Birds

This Xmas I made birds out of old newspapers and cardboard to give to my family members. I got the idea from Green Guide for Artist. I highly recommend this book! Happy New Year!

Snake Skin

The guys that work at the organic farm in Immokalee, killed, skinned and ate a 6ft Rattlesnake. Then they gave it to Preston to make a guitar strap. I scanned in the skin and I have thought of a couple of different things to use it for. Anyways, I am really happy, the death of this beautiful snake is going a long ways.
